The IASP Department of Student Programs is proud to recognize outstanding individuals as Academic Coach of the Year. Finalists are nominated by principals, other coaches, students and volunteers.

Strong academic coaches are an essential part of providing a positive experience for Indiana’s students, and IASP is excited to recognize the contributions of devoted coaches across the state. Anyone who served as an academic coach during the 2007-2008 school year is eligible for this award, and can be nominated by their principal, another coach, coordinator or volunteer. Coaches who were named as a 2007 Coach of the Year Finalist are not eligible in 2008, but will be eligible again the following year.

A committee of principals and school personnel will review nomination forms and will name Coach of The Year finalists on www.iasp.org on September 15. One Academic Coach from each level of competition (Elementary, Junior, and Senior) will be recognized at the 20087 Jr/Sr Academic Coaches Conference on September 29 at a post-lunch ceremony.
