The IASP Department of Student Programs is proud to recognize outstanding individuals as Academic Coach of the Year. Finalists are nominated by principals, other coaches, students and volunteers.

Strong academic coaches are an essential part of providing a positive experience for Indiana’s students, and IASP is excited to recognize the contributions of devoted coaches across the state. Anyone who served as an academic coach during the 2009-2010 school year is eligible for this award, and can be nominated by their principal, another coach, coordinator or volunteer. Previous winners of the Coach of the Year award are not eligible to be nominated. Coaches who were named as a 2009 Coach of the Year Finalist are not eligible in 2010, but will be eligible again the following year.

Nomination forms should be submitted by September 11, 2010. A committee of principals and school personnel will review nomination forms and will name Coach of The Year fi nalists on this page on September 25. All finalists will be recognized at the 2010 Jr/Sr Academic Coaches Conference on October 12th at a post-lunch ceremony. One coach from each level of competition (Elementary, Junior, and Senior) will be named as the 2010 Coach Of The Year at that time.
